The coin that started it all

My very first U.S./Philippine coin. A 1904-S Peso.

This is the coin that started my interest in U.S./Philippine coins way back in the late 1960's. It's a well worn, cleaned, and abused 1904-S Peso, but it was no coin I had ever seen. I just remember thinking how odd it was to see a coin that was a U.S. Coin on one side and a FILIPINAS Peso on the other. This the first coin in my collection and it will be the last to go.
